Abstract

The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of an e-learning environment based on communicative theory in developing the skills of some applications of artificial intelligence in scientific research among graduate students. The research used a pre-post experimental design with one study group of 40 male and female students. A list of skills was prepared for some artificial intelligence applications (Chat GPT - typeset.io - openL - safespelling - scribbr) in the scientific research required to be developed among graduate students, the e-learning environment that was designed was (Google Classroom). In light of the list of skills previously prepared, two research tools were built, namely an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect of the skills of artificial intelligence applications in scientific research related to the environment, and an observation checklist to note the practical performance of artificial intelligence applications skills in scientific research. The research tools were applied before and after to the research group. The results of the research found that there is a statistically significant difference at significance level (0,01) between the average scores of the research group between the pre- and post-applications in favor of the post-application, which confirms the effectiveness of the electronic environment based on communicative theory to develop the skills of artificial intelligence applications in scientific research among graduate students
