Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effectiveness of a developed unit of the Geography curriculum in light of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030 supported by a case study in developing: some anti-corruption concepts, some citizenship values, and awareness of some of the risks of corruption for first year secondary school students, and a list of some anti-corruption concepts was prepared. And a list of some values of citizenship, and a list of some risks of corruption. The unit (Some Economic Activities in Egypt) was developed from the Geography curriculum for the first year of secondary school in light of the national anti-corruption strategy 2023-2030 supported by a case study and the preparation of a teacher’s guide for it. The researcher prepared the research tools, which are: : Testing the concepts of anti-corruption, testing the attitudes of citizenship values, and measuring awareness of the dangers of corruption. The research sample consisted of (60) students from the first year of secondary school at Kudiat alIslam Joint Secondary School in the city of Dayrut - Assiut Governorate, and was divided into two groups, an experimental group (30) and a control group (30) and the results of the research found that there was great effectiveness in using an advanced unit of the Geography curriculum in light of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030 supported by a case study in developing some anti-corruption concepts reaching (0.880), developing some citizenship values reaching (0.969), and developing awareness of the risks Corruption reached (0.997) for first-year secondary school students.
