The research aimed to determine the effectiveness of using interactive infographics in teaching social studies in developing some visual culture skills and some geographical visual perception skills among first year middle school students. To achieve this, two lists of visual culture skills and geographic visual visualization skills were prepared, and the selected unit was prepared in light of the interactive infographic and a teacher’s guide for teaching the selected unit using the interactive infographic. An illustrated visual culture skills test and a geographic visual visualization skills test were prepared, and the research was applied to the research group of students. The results of the research concluded that there is a significant impact of using the interactive infographic in teaching social studies in developing some cultural skills. Visual perception and some geographic visual perception skills among first year middle school students. There is also a positive correlation with statistical significance between the scores of the experimental group students in the post-application of the pictorial visual culture skills test and the pictorial geographic visual perception skills test.
